Photoshop Acrylic Layer Styles
Gosh... it's been tooooo long since I blogged! It seems like I've been running hither and yon for the last month and a half... hub ended up in hospital for 3 days, then he had his 1st cataract surgery, plus the usual running into town for the usual errands... But this weekend has been glorious!! And there are NO appointments for the entire week! Yeeeehaw!!!
OK.. so for the goodie today! Several digital scrapping stores seem to be having a craze on Acrylic this and that so I made 9 groups of Photoshop Acrylic Layer Styles which you can use for your text, custom shapes, brushes, backgrounds, anything ... go into the Blending Options and play around with the different settings... go ahead!! You won't break anything... and if you happen to mess them up just download them again!! One way to change the color is to use the style on a shape.. then desaturate... then go into the Blending Options and choose the color of your choice in the Color Overlay option... see earlier blogs as to how to do that.
The layer styles work best on fat fonts at 200 pt or larger.. something like VAGRounded BT, or Wide Latin, or WallowHmkBold or Sweet As Candy to name a few.
If you have a request I'll see what I can come up with... or if you have any questions just send me an email at dundas@hotmail.com or dundas2002au@yahoo.com
As usual, these are not for commercial use or profit and please keep the file names intact.
The layer styles can be found here... Enjoy!!
